Mor Bordeynik-Cohen

M.D.-Ph.D student

Mor Bordeynik cohen is an M.D,Ph.D student. Mor participated in the Rom program as an research assistant at The Department of Microsurgery and Plastics, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, where she studied adipocyte stem cells. Her first project at our lab focuses on studying a CRISPR-Cas9 mouse model for a genetic deafness variant. Her second project studies the different expression of miRNAs in the inner ear and the superior olivary complex in collaboration with Prof. Hans Gerd Nothwang’s lab.

She received the Switzerland Institute of Developmental Biology Travel Fellowship, the Herczeg Institute on Aging Scholarship Award for Excelling Doctoral Students, the HEar@JAX Workshop Scholarship and the excellent poster award at ILANIT (FISEB) 2017 Conference.
